Voona aims to be a place where everyone can connect with peace of mind. This page provides guidelines for safe use and the features you can use when something goes wrong.
Community Guidelines
We ask all users to follow these basic rules on Voona:
- Respect others and communicate with consideration
- Use the service only if you are 18 or older (use by minors is prohibited)
- Do not impersonate anyone else
- Respect the privacy of other users
Tips for Safe Interactions
When interacting with strangers, please keep the following in mind:
- Do not casually share personal information such as your full name, address, phone number, workplace, or financial account details.
- Do not respond if someone asks you for money, gifts, or to join an investment scheme. Requests for money are a typical sign of scams.
- Be cautious of attempts to move you to external sites or other contact channels.
- If you arrange to meet in person, do so only after building sufficient trust, choose a public place, and tell a family member or friend where you are going.
- If something feels off, don't force the interaction — use block and report.
Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited by the Terms of Service and may result in account suspension or deletion:
- Using the service while under 18
- Impersonation or false profiles
- Harassment, defamation, threats, or hate speech
- Any conduct involving sexual exploitation or sexual abuse
- Illegal conduct, or soliciting or promoting it
- Solicitation to external services, advertising, or spam
- Collecting or disclosing others' personal information without authorization
How to Use Safety Features
Block
To cut off contact from a specific user, select "Block" from their profile screen (or similar places). Blocked users can no longer contact you.
Report
If you see a violation of the Terms or suspicious behavior, select "Report" from the user's profile screen (or similar places). The Operator reviews reports and takes action in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Safe Mode
Turning on Safe Mode in the app limits what is shown and who can reach you, so you can use the service with greater peace of mind. You can toggle it from the settings screen.
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Prevention Standards
Voona has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The service is available only to people aged 18 or older, and we operate it under the following standards.
- We prohibit posting, sending, sharing or requesting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content that sexualizes minors.
- We prohibit all conduct involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, including grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking of children, and soliciting minors for sexual purposes.
- Use by anyone under 18 is prohibited. Accounts determined to belong to minors are suspended or deleted.
- When we confirm a violation, we remove the content and immediately suspend or delete the accounts involved.
- We report suspected CSAM and other child sexual abuse or exploitation to the relevant national and regional authorities, such as the police, and to organizations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), in accordance with applicable law. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
- Users can report child safety concerns at any time with the in-app "Report" feature (on a user's profile, posts, chats and more). Our team reviews every report and acts under these standards.

In Case of Emergency
If there is an imminent danger to life or safety, or if you are or may become a victim of a crime, contact the police or other relevant authorities immediately — do not rely solely on in-app reporting. Action by the Operator is not a substitute for emergency services.
